The US State Department has approved the sale of M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) launchers to Poland. This move will allow Poland to modernize its armed forces and enhance its security capabilities. The HIMARS and related equipment will be sold to Poland for an estimated cost of 10 billion USD.
