Delhi@2047 was launched by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The objective of this initiative is to foster partnerships with the private sector, corporate social responsibility initiatives and philanthropic organisations to achieve the vision for Delhi by the year 2047.
The initiative aims to make Delhi a world-class city in the 100th anniversary of Indian independence. Some of its long-term objectives include matching Delhi?s per capita income with that of Singapore?s, bidding for the Olympics etc. The short-term objectives of this initiative are ensuring round-the-clock water and electricity supply, providing quality infrastructure like roads, reducing pollution etc.
