Deshbhakti Curriculum

On the occasion of Bhagat Singh’s birth anniversary (28 September), the Delhi Government unveiled the ‘Deshbhakti Curriculum’. The new curriculum are introduced to strengthen patriotism among school students.
In the new curriculum, syllabuses have been changed for all classes to inculcate the idea of patriotism. One of the textbooks under this curriculum focuses on the names of 100 revolutionaries. It will be introduced in all government schools in Delhi. These institutions will be conducting a 45-minute class, which would begin with a “Patriotic Meditation”. It will also include students maintaining a ‘Deshbhakti dairy’ and taking part in ‘Deshbhakti Dhyan’, which involves students talking about 5 new patriots each day.
