Draft Science, Technology and Innovation Policy, 2020

Draft Science, Technology and Innovation Policy 2020 (STIP 2020) seeks to position India among top three scientific superpowers in a decade. Department of Science and Technology has invited suggestions, inputs and comments for making changes in this draft policy by January 25. The proposed policy intends to achieve technological self-reliance, double the number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) researchers etc. The policy also proposes setting up STI Development Bank, National STI Observatory and Open Science Framework.
