Innovative Ideas for Success

On October 17, 2023, the Ministry of Ayush convened a crucial meeting, bringing together representatives from various ministries. They shared innovative ideas to make ‘Ayurveda Day’ a resounding success. Ministries and departments like Home, Culture, Foreign, Tribal, Water Resources, Science and Technology Department, and CSIR actively participated, emphasizing the potential of digital technology and diverse engagement activities to make ‘Ayurveda Day’ a global celebration.

Unity Across Ministries

Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, presided over the meeting and stressed the vision of the Prime Minister. The goal is to transform ‘Ayurveda Day’ into a national program that unites and benefits from the collective support of all ministries in the country.

Three Pillars of ‘Ayurveda for One Health’

Kotecha elaborated on the central theme of ‘Ayurveda for One Health,’ which revolves around three key pillars:

  1. Ayurveda for Students: Fostering the study and practice of Ayurveda among students.
  2. Ayurveda for Farmers: Promoting Ayurvedic practices in agriculture, benefiting farmers and the environment.
  3. Ayurveda for Public Health: Extending the wisdom of Ayurveda for the general well-being of the public.

Ayurveda for Everyone, Every Day

The resounding message is ‘Ayurveda for everyone every day.’ The core objective of ‘Ayurveda Day’ is to spread the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda worldwide, establishing it as a global resource for the well-being of humans, animals, plants, and the environment.
