Go for Zero Policy

‘Go for Zero’ policy is a Covid control policy being used by the Australian government. The policy proposal was given by Grattan Institute, a non-profit institute. The goal under this policy is not just flattening the curve but to reach zero Covid cases eventually. Measures under this policy includes closure of businesses and state borders, imposition of night curfew, ramped up contact tracing and mandatory isolation. In addition to this, a QR code system for regulating access to public venues and setting up of ‘health hotels’ for symptomatic travellers are other measures.
