Hell heron

A new species of dinosaur named Hell heron which had a very large nose has been discovered by scientists. This unique dinosaur with a bulb-shaped nose bone was identified by a retired researcher named Jeremy Rockwood.

Highlights

London’s Natural History Museum owns several collections of bones from the Isle of Wight in southern England. It is one of the richest places in Europe for dinosaur remains. Lockwood found that dinosaurs differed from the mantellisaurus atherfieldensis and herbivorous iguanodon bernissartensis in cataloguing the bones of each iguanodon.

Reconstruction of the dinosaur skeleton revealed that Mantellisaurus had 23 teeth, while the new species had 28 teeth. This study which has been published in the Journal of Systematic Palaeontology, explores herbivorous dinosaurs in detail. This new species is about 8 meters long and weighs 900 kg.

The skeleton of this new species was found to be associated with one of the most complete theropods in the UK. Found on rocky beaches, the fossils were found on the Isle of Wight, England, and were about 127 million years old, preying on large, previously unknown dinosaurs adapted for waterfront hunting, probably living side by side. The largest terrestrial animal in Earth’s history was the successor to the Sauropodomorpha. It was later named Argentinosaurus, who lived in Patagonia, and is 36 meters long and has reached over 70 tons.
