India Morocco Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism

India and Morocco held the second meeting of their Joint Working Group on Counter-Terrorism in New Delhi on 22 June 2026.

Key Outcomes

  • Joint condemnation: Both sides condemned terrorism in all forms, including cross-border terrorism.
  • Specified incidents: Condemnation cited the Pahalgam attack (22 Apr 2025) and the incident near Red Fort, Delhi (10 Nov 2025).
  • Next steps: Parties agreed to hold the next JWG session in Morocco on a mutually convenient date.
  • Prior agreement: This JWG follows the India–Morocco defence cooperation agreement of Sept 2025 covering industrial cooperation, capacity building and counter‑terrorism.
