Indo-Israel Villages of Excellence scheme

Indo-Israel Villages of Excellence (IIVoE) scheme seeks to create a model ecosystem in agriculture across 8 states near 13 Centers of Excellence within 75 villages. It aims to increase the net incomes and improve job opportunities for individual farmers by converting traditional farms into modern intensive farms that are on par with the IIAP standards. The focus areas include modernising agriculture infrastructure, capacity building and market linkage.

The 75 IIVoEs are located in Haryana, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. There are currently 29 Indo-Israel Centres of Excellence across India. This number is expected to increase to 42 in the coming years.
