Israel-Morocco Accord
The Israel-Morocco Accord, that was recently signed, marks the normalization of ties between Israel and Morocco. The deal was brokered by the USA to make Morocco the 4th Arab country after UAE, Bahrain and Sudan to set aside hostilities with Israel. These accords are being referred to as ‘Abraham Accords’. Under this accord, Morocco is to establish full diplomatic ties and official contacts with Israel. The countries are to open liaison offices and consulates in each other’s territories.
