IUCN World Conservation Congress
The IUCN World Conservation Congress is held every four years with the objective of conserving the environment and adopting the solutions that are environmentally friendly. It brings together leaders and decision makers from the government, civil society, indigenous communities, business and academia on a single platform.
The IUCN World Conservation Congress 2020, which was postponed due to COVID-19, will be held from September 3 to 11, 2021 in Marseille, France. During the event, 1,400 members of the IUCN will democratically determine the most pressing issue faced during the conservation of nature and discuss the solutions on the same.
