Lamrin Tech Skills University

The Punjab Cabinet recently approved the establishment of Lamrin Tech Skills University – a private funded educational institute that will seek to strengthen industry-oriented teaching, skill training and research. It will be funded by the private players and built at a village Railmajra.
The university will admit 1,000 to 1,100 students into the campus once it is fully established. 15 per cent of the seats will be exclusively reserved for students from Punjab. The will be educating and training in fields such as engineering, management, medical technology skills, vocational education and other skill-intensive programmes. The curriculums are designed to be on par with the current industrial demands.
