Nehru Zoological Park gets ISO certifications

The Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad has got the ISO 9001:2015 certification with its standard working procedures. The Quality Management Standards Certification was provided from ASCB, UK.

• This Zoo has become the first zoo in India to get the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards Certificate.
• The certification was presented to Telangana Forests Minister A. Indra Karan Reddy.
• The assessment for the certification was conducted by HYM International Certifications, ASCB(UK).
• The certification was given after the organisation got satisfied with the fact that standards is being followed in Nehru Zoological Park in sanitation, food processing, Zoo Hospital, animal care, animal breeding, hygiene maintenance and establishment.
