Operation Samudra Setu II

Operation Samudra Setu II was launched by the Indian Navy to boost the national efforts to increase the oxygen supply amid the surging coronavirus infection. Under this mission, the naval ships will bring oxygen-filled cryogenic containers from abroad for India’s COVID-19 response. Seven Indian naval ships are involved in this mission – Kolkata, Kochi, Talwar, Trikand, Jalashwa and Airavat. Landing Ship Tank INS Shardul is preparing to joint this mission.
