PM Kisan Samman Nidhi

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a central sector scheme that is fully funded by the central government. Operational since 2018, this scheme provides financial support of Rs.6,000 to farmers in three equal instalments each year. The fund will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The beneficiaries must have combined land ownership of up to 2 hectares. West Bengal had recently joined in to implement this scheme.
