Pravasi Bharatiya Divas
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is an annual event aimed at sustaining and nurturing symbiotic relationship between India and its diaspora. The 16th edition of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a virtual event on January 9. The theme of the convention is “Contributing to Aatmanirbhar Bharat”. This theme is part of Indian government’s efforts to encourage Indian diaspora to be part of the socio-economic development of the country.
