School bubbles are physical classifications of students into small groupings to make COVID-19 isolation easier and manageable in case of infection. This helps preventing the full closure of schools when a COVID-19 case is detected.
The concept is useful for students studying primary school or below, as they will have the chance to have peer-to-peer interaction on daily basis. It will also help loosen some of the stringent social distancing measures. The concept was proposed by the technical advisory committee set up by the Karnataka government to mitigate the spread of the covid infection.
