Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was the founder of the International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), commonly known as the “Hare Krishna Movement”. The ISKCON has translated Bhagavad Geeta and other Vedic literatures into 89 languages, making an important contribution in the dissemination of Vedic literature to the global community.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually release a special commemorative coin of Rs.125 on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on September 1. Prabhupada is known for establishing over a hundred temples and writing several books that teaches the path of Bhakti Yoga to the world.
