76th Republic Day Parade

The 76th Republic Day Parade in New Delhi on January 26, 2025, will prominently feature the theme “Swarnim Bharat – Virasat Aur Vikas.” This event will showcase tableaux from 16 States and Union Territories, alongside displays from 10 Ministries and Departments of the Union Government. • The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment will highlight the Constitution of India as a foundation of heritage and development.

• The Ministry of Women and Child Development will reflect on the journey of women and children through various initiatives.

Tri-Services Tableau

For the first time, a Tri-services tableau will be featured. Under the theme “Shashakt aur Surakshit Bharat,” it will illustrate joint operations among the Armed Forces. This tableau will depict a Joint Operations Room and a battlefield scenario showcasing synergy across land, air, and sea. It will feature indigenous military assets like the Arjun Main Battle Tank and Tejas MKII fighter aircraft. The tableau aims to demonstrate India’s commitment to self-reliance in defence capabilities. The Ministry of Defence has declared 2025 as the Year of Reforms, focusing on jointness and integration within the Armed Forces.
