WISE 1534?1043

WISE 1534-1043 is a cold, metal-poor brown dwarf star located some 50 light years away in constellation Libra. It was nicknamed ?The Accident? as it does not resemble any of the brown dwarfs that have been discovered in Milk Way so far.
The Accident is unique from all the other brown dwarfs as its mass surpasses the ambiguous range of the scale set for the brown dwarfs. It is 80 times the size of Jupiter. Normally, methane is considered to be common gas in brown dwarfs having temperature similar to The Accident. However, it was found to have very low methane, suggesting that it was formed at the time when Milky Way was filled almost entirely with hydrogen and helium.
