Zhurong
Zhurong is a Mars rover launched by China as part of the Tianwen-1 mission. It is the first rover launched by China, making the second country to successfully soft land a spacecraft on Mars and establish communication from the Martian surface after the United States.
The 1.85 meter tall rover has completed its three-month life expectancy after successfully accomplishing all its assigned tasks. It will continue to conduct an extended expedition towards an ancient coastal area of Utopia Planitia. It will pause its operations from mid-September to late-October because of the anticipated communication disruption by solar electromagnetic radiation and resume the mission later on.
