C-DOT Hosts Samarth Incubation Demo Day

C-DOT organised a Demo Day for 18 startups under Cohort-II of its Samarth incubation programme at the NBCC Convention Hall in New Delhi. The event brought into light innovations in telecom applications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, 5G/6G, and quantum technologies. The programme is designed to support early-stage startups in the telecom and ICT sectors.

About Samarth Programme

Samarth was launched in March 2025 as a structured incubation initiative for telecom and ICT startups. It runs in two cohorts of six months each and can support up to 18 startups per cohort. In total, the programme is meant to incubate 36 startups. Software Technology Parks of India and TiE are the implementation partners.

Support Provided to Startups

Selected startups receive a grant of ₹5 lakh each at the Stage-I level. They also get access to furnished office space and laboratory facilities at C-DOT campuses in Delhi and Bengaluru. The programme includes mentorship from C-DOT scientists and industry experts. Startups are also guided on product development, minimum viable product creation, financial management, market entry, intellectual property, and fundraising.

Cohort-II Selection and Demo Day

Cohort-II was launched in July 2025 with problem statements in artificial intelligence, Li-Fi, security, and drone technologies. After evaluation by experts from academia, industry, C-DOT and STPI, 18 startups were selected and given the Stage-I grant at India Mobile Congress 2025. During the Demo Day, they presented their solutions before industry experts and investors. Five startups were selected for the Stage-II grant based on product potential and execution capability.

Selected Startups and Future Scope

The five startups selected for the second tranche are Huebits Tech Private Limited, Khageshvara Aviation Technology Private Limited, Xpectro Solutions (OPC) Private Limited, Zepto Logic Technologies Private Limited, and Vocbot.Ai Technology Private Limited. They may also receive further support through the C-DOT Collaborative Research Programme. The initiative reflects India’s push for telecom innovation, startup development, and self-reliance in digital technologies.
