Amul began work on an integrated dairy project at Howrah Food Park, Sankrail, Howrah district (Kolkata region) on 21 July 2026; the complex will house what is described as the world’s largest curd manufacturing facility.

  • Milk processing capacity: 30 lakh litres per day when fully operational.
