The 13th edition of Aero India, a premier global event in the aviation sector, is on the horizon. The online registrations are now open for the event scheduled for February 2021 at the Air Force Station, Bengaluru (Karnataka). Aero India: An Introduction

The Yelahanka air base, located approximately 30 km from the city centre of Bengaluru, has been hosting Aero India since its inception in 1996. Organisers of Aero India: A Look into the Past and Future
The previous edition of the airshow in 2019 was organised by Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL). Looking forward to 2021, the Defence Exhibition Organisation (DEO), under the Ministry of Defence, will be taking up the mantle of organisation. The DEO was established in 1981 as an autonomous body of the Indian Government, dedicated to promoting the potential for exports within the Indian defence industry.
DEO’s Role and Responsibilities
The DEO is entrusted with the responsibility of organising international exhibitions such as the DefExpo and facilitating Indian participation at overseas exhibitions. Its role is vital in showcasing the capabilities and advancements of India’s defence industry on the global stage.
