On 24 July 2026 the Union Cabinet approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan (BHAVYA Rasayan) and allocated ₹3,030 crore to develop three dedicated chemical parks from FY2026‑27 to FY2030‑31.
Scheme overview

Park design and eligibility
- Developer: State government to develop parks after competitive selection.

- Central‑state cost share: Up to ₹1,000 crore central assistance per park, conditional on a minimum state contribution of ₹500 crore.
Infrastructure and environmental facilities
- Model: Plug‑and‑play industrial infrastructure for ready‑to‑operate units.
- Key facilities: Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs), Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs), water supply, logistics, power and internal roads.
- Definitions: CETP — shared plant for treating industrial effluents; TSDF — facility for treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous waste.
