Brachycephalus rotenbergae

Brachycephalus rotenbergae is a newly discovered fluorescent frog that was found in Atlantic Forest in Brazil. It is a type of pumpkin toadlet having distinctive features like black patterned skin and underdeveloped ears. These species prefer high altitude regions in the Atlantic Forest. They are much smaller than the other known toadlets. They can glow when placed under the UV light, a wavelength visible for these species and not for humans.
