Centre Launches Digital Calendar and Diary
Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting has launched the Digital Calendar and Diary of the Indian Government. Both the Android and iOS mobile applications of the calendar and diary have been launched.

- The Digital Calendar and Diary app is free of cost.
- It will be available from 15th January 2021 in 11 languages.
- In the Digital Calendar and Diary, every month will have a theme and a message. Every month will also feature one famous Indian personality.
- The app will also provide information about the schedule of the launch of various government programmes.
- The Digital Calendar has been launched under the vision of “Digital India”.
- People will be able to download the app after January 15 from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store.
- Bureau of Outreach and Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has designed and developed the Digital Calendar and Diary app in association with the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
- At present, the app will be available in Hindi and English language and will be available in 11 other Indian regional languages soon.
Features of App
The Digital app will give information about the latest information on different schemes and publications of the Indian government. It will provide information about the official holidays and other important dates. The app will also have a provision to schedule meetings. The app will also have features for visually impaired Divyangjans.
