Crimson Solar Project
Crimson Solar Project, which was recently approved by the US government, is a major solar energy project to be set up in the California desert. With an outlay of 550 million USD, it will provide power to around 90,000 homes. It will span across 20,000 acres of federal land west of Blythe, California. This project is part of the Biden administration’s push towards renewable energy projects to combat climate change, create jobs and minimise fossil fuel consumption.
