DAY-NRLM

Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana ? National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) was launched in 2011 to boost the income of the rural poor by improving the efficiency of the institutional platforms and improving access to financial services. The scheme is implemented through self-help groups and federal institutions.
Prime Minister Modi participated in the ?Atmanirbhar Narishakti se Samvad? and interacted with the women SHG members/community resources promoted under the DAY-NRLM. These women were trained as community resource persons – Krishi Sakhis, Pashu Sakhis, Bank Sakhis, Bima Sakhis, Banking Correspondent Sakhis etc., under this scheme.
