National Commission for Homoeopathy (Amendment) Bill, 2021

The National Commission for Homeopathy (Amendment) Bill, 2021 makes changes to the National Commission for Homeopathy Act, 2020 that replaced the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. The 2020 Act was enacted to replace the Homeopathy Central Council with a national commission to regulate homeopathic education and practice.
The 2021 Amendment Bill seeks to provide a medical education system that improves access to quality and affordable medical education. On July 5 this year, the National Commission for Homeopathy was set up to supersede the Central Council and repeal the 1973 Act. It retains the actions done, decisions made and liabilities incurred by the Board of Governors.
