DSC A 20

The Indian Navy celebrated a significant milestone with the launch of its first Diving Support Craft (DSC), named DSC A 20, at Titagarh in Kolkata, West Bengal. This event also marked the keel laying ceremony for the final craft in the series, DSC A 24. These DSCs are part of a project undertaken by M/s Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (TRSL) and are built according to Indian Naval Regulations. These vessels are designed to perform diving operations for operational and training purposes in coastal waters and harbors. Equipped with state-of-the-art diving equipment, all five DSCs are expected to be delivered to the Indian Navy in the fiscal year 2024-25.
