Green National Highways Corridor Project

The Green National Highways Corridor Project is a $500 million project with an objective to build safe and green national highway corridors in the states of Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The project will also enhance the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways’ capacity to integrate safe and green technology designs in highways. Agreement in this regard was signed between the Indian government and the World Bank.
