IMMA Hosts National Crop Nutrition Summit

IMMA Hosts National Crop Nutrition Summit

India’s micro-fertiliser and specialty crop nutrition sector will come into focus at the 6th National Crop Nutrition Summit & B2B Expo, to be held in Mumbai in February 2026. The event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, scientists, startups and global experts to discuss reforms, innovation and market opportunities in agri inputs. The summit is designed around policy dialogue, business networking and technology-led growth in crop nutrition.

Event Theme and Venue

The two-day summit will be held at the National Stock Exchange, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, on 5 and 6 February 2026. It will be organised under the theme Converge, Collaborate & Co-create. The programme will focus on India’s role as a global agri input manufacturing hub.

Policy and Regulatory Agenda

The summit will show key policy concerns in the sector. These include:

  • One Nation, One License to reduce regulatory bottlenecks.
  • Faster approval systems for micronutrients, biologicals and specialty fertilisers.
  • A clear distinction between subsidised and non-subsidised agri inputs.
  • Stronger action against counterfeit and sub-standard products.

The event will also discuss export-friendly policies and recognition of precision nutrition, biologicals and regenerative inputs as future growth areas.

Industry, Science and Innovation Focus

The summit will include sessions on AI, analytics, manufacturing excellence, fundraising and international business development. A pitch platform will showcase next-generation agri innovations. A roundtable will examine how micronutrients and biologicals can be integrated into fertiliser policy. The event will also feature farmer awards for innovation and impact.

Significance for India’s Agri Input Sector

India’s crop nutrition market is seeing rising demand for micronutrients, specialty fertilisers and sustainable biological inputs. Soil depletion and changing farming practices are driving this shift. The summit is expected to strengthen cooperation among government, industry and research institutions, while supporting domestic manufacturing, ease of doing business and export competitiveness.
