Kleopatra
Kleopatra is an asteroid that was recently found to be having its own moons. Its moons are named as AlexHelios and CleoSelene after the children of Egyptian Queen Cleopatra. According to researchers, Kleopatra have created these satellites by itself.
The asteroid Kleopatra is also known as ?dog bone asteroid? because of its shape. It has two lobes connected by a long ?neck?. It revolves around the Sun in the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter. Its length is about 270 km ? around half the length of the English Channel. Since it has low density, it is believed to have a porous structure and is likely formed after the re-accumulation of a giant impact.
