Meghalaya Enterprise Architecture Project (MeghEA) was launched to use digital technologies to improve service delivery and governance in the northeastern state of Meghalaya. It has six focus areas – governance, entrepreneurship, human resources, primary sector, infrastructure and environment.
The ultimate goal of this initiative is to make Meghalaya a high income state by the end of this decade and achieve the state’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. It is expected to ensure coordinated governance and digitally connect people and the government. Apart from improving financial services delivery, the initiative will also promote secure data sharing and support innovation.
