Narmada Landscape Restoration Project

NTPC Ltd and the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), an autonomous institute under the environment ministry, have signed a MoU for the implementation of the Narmada Landscape Restoration Project. This project would be implemented in Khargone District in Madhya Pradesh in the catchment of select tributaries of River Narmada between Omkareshwar and Maheshwar dams. The project is expected to improve the quality and quantity of waters in the tributaries of River Narmada.
