NB-IoT (Narrow Band-Internet of Things) is a wireless communication standard for the Internet of Things. It enables connection of devices requiring small amounts of data, low bandwidth and long battery life. Global machine connectivity solutions company Skylotech India and BSNL partnered to launch a satellite-based narrow band IoT network in India. Developed by Skylo, this solution will connect BSNL’s satellite ground infrastructure to provide pan-India coverage, including Indian seas.
