National Achievement Survey

The National Achievement Survey is going to be conducted by the Indian Government to assess learning losses caused by the COVID-19 lockdowns. It will be one of India’s largest official school education assessment exercise. It is the first national-level survey to cover both state-run and private schools.
The country-wide survey will provide separate data for national and district levels, giving a concrete picture on the accumulation of unlearning during the pandemic. With its data, the government will look towards bringing forth various solutions to reverse the learning losses caused by the pandemic.
