National Horticulture Fair 2021

The National Horticulture Fair 2021 will start on February 8 at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) campus in Bengaluru. It is a 5-day fair.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, physical entry to the fair is restricted to 30,000 people.
  • The Fair is being organized by IIHR, Bengaluru, and the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR).
  • 11 Agricultural Technology Application Research Institutes and 721 Krishi Vijnana Kendras across the country will facilitate farmers to participate in the virtual fair.
  • Arrangements have also been made in agricultural training centres of respective state governments. Those who wish to participate in the fair can register on NHF 2021 website- nhf2021.iihr.res.in.
  • In the fair, 211 live demonstrations will be showcased and online interactions between farmers and scientists will also be facilitated by IIHR.

The fair will also include live demonstrations of improved varieties and technologies, sale of seeds, exhibition stalls from public and private sectors, farmers-entrepreneurs-scientists’ interactions, planting material and products from ICAR-IIHR and other public and private firms for the benefit of end-users.
