National Industrial Corridor Programme

The National Industrial Corridor Programme aims to develop futuristic industrial cities in India that can compete with the best-performing manufacturing and investment destinations in the world. It also aims to boost livelihoods, economic growth and socio-economic development.
The Indian Government has approved the development of 11 Industrial Corridors with 32 projects to be developed in four phases in the country as part of this programme. The purpose of the development of industrial corridors is to increase industrial output, boost jobs and provide for the basic socio-economic welfare of the new and growing workforce.
