Operation Blue Freedom

On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, Operation Blue Freedom was flagged off to create a world record for the largest team of people with disabilities trekking the world’s highest battlefield – the Siachen Glacier.
The expedition team was trained by Team CLAW – a team of Armed Forces veterans working to empower people with disabilities. This world record expedition is part of the Operation Blue Freedom Triple World Records’. The team will undergo three stages of acclimation, training and medical screening before it ventures into the Siachen Base Camp to reach the Kumar Post located at an altitude of 15,632 feet.
