PRAGATI
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi launched the multi-modal platform PRAGATI i.e. Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation in 2015.

- PRAGATI is a unique interactive platform that aims to address the grievances of common people and to review important programmes of the Government of India and State Governments.
- It is a three-tier system with Prime Minister Office- PMO, Union Government Secretaries, and Chief Secretaries of the States in the three levels.
- The platform bundles 3 technologies namely geo-spatial technology, video-conferencing and Digital data management.
- Prime Minister holds a monthly programme for interacting with the Secretaries and Chief Secretaries of the Government of India through Video-conferencing.
- Till the 32nd meeting of PRAGATI, 275 projects of Rs 12.5 lakh crore have been reviewed.
33rd PRAGATI Meeting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently headed the 33rd PRAGATI meeting and reviewed various projects. Prime Minister has also asked the states to develop a strategy for state export- ‘State Export Strategy’. In the 33rd meeting projects of Power Ministry, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Railways, and Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade were taken up. The total cost of these projects was Rs 1.41 lakh crore. The projects that were taken up were related to 10 states and UTs that include Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli. Also, grievances related to PM Awas Yojana (PMAY-G) and COVID-19 was taken up in the meeting.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin is a rural housing scheme of the Government of India. It has a target of providing housing for all by the year 2022.
