‘Prayaas’ Initiative of IOC
Recently, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has started an initiative called “Prayas” to provide support to the communities living near the IOC fuel stations.

Missed Call for booking IOC LPG Cylinder
Recently, Indian Oil Corporation has provided a new facility to its LPG cylinder customers. All the customers of IOC can now book their LPG refill cylinders by simply giving a missed call on “8454955555”. This number is valid across the country.
The missed call service of IOC was launched by the Union oil minister in Bhubaneswar. The facility will be soon extended to the entire country. After the launch of the service, customers will not be required to pay any call charges for booking their IOC LPG cylinders.

It is a public sector undertaking and oil & gas company of India. It was founded in the year 1959 and is headquartered in New Delhi. IOC also became the first company to start the supply of BS-VI fuel across the country last year in April.
