Qila-e-Ark
Qila-e-Ark was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in 1650. The fort complex is located in Maharashtra. It was converted into a college during the Nizam period. However, the college was later shifted to a new building. The structure had suffered serious damages over time, leading to it losing its past glory. It was earlier a notified monument of the state archaeology department. However, it was denotified in 1971. Experts are now calling for its restoration to make it a tourist hub.
