India?s first-ever Quantum Computer Simulator (QSim) Toolkit was launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) recently. It was indigenously developed by IISc Bangalore, IIT Roorkee and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to economize the research endeavors concerning quantum computing.
QSim will help researchers to write and debug quantum code that is vital for developing quantum algorithms. It helps in the exploration of quantum algorithms and provide them with required support for experimenting on actual Quantum Hardware. It provides a strong quantum computer simulator integrated with a graphical user interface to help users create quantum programmes and visualize the instant circuit generation simulated outputs.
