Red Channel Agreement

The Red Channel Agreement is the MoU signed between the World Health Organisation and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to implement the Emergency Medical Team (EMT) initiative. Under this agreement, the two multilateral organisations will collaborate to strengthen the delivery of emergency medical and health services during humanitarian crises. It will enable these organisations to standardise emergency health response and heighten capacity building efforts of the EMT network.
