The World Economic Forum estimates that greenhouse gas emissions from agriculture in the European Union could be 6% lower per year by 2030 if a fifth of farmers adopted climate-smart agriculture such as regenerative farming. This shift would also improve soil health across an area equivalent to 14% of agricultural land in the EU, and potentially increase farmers' incomes by between �1.9 and �9.3 billion per year.

Other benefits of regenerative agriculture include more efficient water use and fewer pests. Biodiversity is increased through regenerative farming practices, making the land more resilient and better able to withstand environmental stressors.

Implementation of Regenerative Agriculture
