Two paraglider pilots were rescued after losing control and falling into Tehri Lake during the three-day Acro Festival and SIV Championship Tehri 2026. The State Disaster Response Force acted quickly and pulled both pilots out safely. The incident took place on Thursday. Both pilots were later given a preliminary medical check and were found safe.
