What is Swachhata Pakhwada?

Swachhata pakhwada is an annual event observed by the Indian government’s ministries and departments towards the goal of a ‘Swachh Bharat’. This fortnight long event was started in 2016. During this period, the ministry is considered as a ‘Swachhata Ministry’. The activities are monitored using the Swachhata Samiksha- an online system where images and videos are shared. Recently, the NCC’s Swachhata Pakhwada was inaugurated on the theme of ‘Clean India, Green India, Yeh Hai Mera Dream India’.
