Starstreak

Starstreak is a missile system manufactured by Thales Air Defence, a Northern Ireland based defence contractor. It is capable of accelerating to more than Mach 4 and is hence considered the fastest surface to air missile in the short range category. It has the unique 3 laser guided darts which is immune to jamming countermeasures. Recently, Thales and Bharat Dynamics signed a teaming agreement which provides export opportunities for Indian manufactured components via the existing Starstreak global supply chain.
